The BioTox network is focused on the field of environmental risk assessment related to human and animal health in the V4 countries, as well as in Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. The participating countries struggle with similar regional and national problems on a daily basis. Cooperation between participating universities from these countries could bring new solutions, effective teaching of students and preparation of internationally recognised experts prepared for current labour market needs.

The primary activities in the BioTox network are as follows:

- support the participation of Bc., MSc., and PhD. students and teachers in foreign mobilities and short-term courses at partner universities,

- increase the scientific level of bachelor's, diploma and diploma theses thanks to cooperation with partner universities,

- organise summer (training) schools in the field of ecotoxicology, biology, animal physiology, human risk assessment, etc.

- support the mobility of teachers and young researchers by providing special courses at partner universities
